Recently we sat down with Tarantin CEO/CFO, Bill Craig, with 20 Questions about his role at Tarantin and the state of propane today. We posted the first 10 questions here. Today, we're posting the last 10 questions.

Bill Craig, Tarantin CEO/CFO.

ON YOUR LINKED IN PROFILE THERE ARE LOTS OF LETTERS AFTER YOUR NAME. WHAT'S UP WITH THAT?

In my field, technical competence is sometimes an important element, and those are mostly credentials related to that. So our bankers sleep better knowing I am an MBA/CPA/CGMA/ABV/CFF, but I doubt it matters much to anybody else.

WHAT DO YOU WISH YOU WOULD SEE MORE OF?

The rate of change in our world today is increasing every day, and with globalization, social media, and ecommerce, whole businesses have been created that have either displaced some pretty serious players or created whole new paradigms. AirBNB, Alibaba, Uber... to name a few. I think it is really important to be curious, to ABL - Always Be Learning. Given my age, most of my learning is through books, but I am getting better about TED Talks and YouTube. Fixed my furnace this winter using YouTube.

CAN YOU GIVE US A QUICK RUNDOWN OF YOUR CAREER HIGHLIGHTS? FIRST JOB, BEST JOB, JOB WHERE YOU LEARNED THE MOST?

I started working very young, so I have had many jobs, from pumping gas to plumber's helper. But first job out of college was a Field Representative for GMAC in central Texas. I was a repo man. Best job was playing the drums for the Inflatable Dolls. Job where I learned the most was at General Electric, during the Jack Welch era. Really focused on the customer, and passionate about process improvement.

WHAT IS THE HARDEST PART OF YOUR JOB?

In many respects I am a "coach", and like any coach, I don't like it when we don't "win" (really execute). But that's the job right? Especially since I don't know anything about propane.

WHAT IS THE BEST PART OF YOUR JOB?

When we execute. When our team does something new or outside of the box, they take a chance and grow. When we work together to make it happen for the customer.

HOW DID YOU GET THIS JOB?

I was out of the room when the choice was made!

WHAT ADVICE DO YOU HAVE?

I think it is just so important to try to "get better" every day, not just at your job, but in your life.

WHERE DO YOU SEE TARANTIN GOING? IN ONE YEAR? IN FIVE?

I think we are just getting started! We are developing agile and adaptable people, and we are becoming an agile and adaptable organization. And as Darwin pointed out with survival of the fittest... fittest means most adaptable.

That's part two of our "20 Questions With Bill Craig" post. Thank you Bill for taking time out of your day to answer our questions.
