LCR.iQ - New Features and Updates

1. A new serial protocol interface has been integrated directly into the Titan Logix Finch controller and tank level system. This enhancement facilitates a 1:1 integration of tank level data between the Finch Controller and the LCR.iQ.
2. The temperature value will no longer be displayed when the probe is disconnected. In such cases, the temperature reading will now show ----.
3. Message and audit trail logs are now accurately saved and are no longer in reverse order.
4. The setting for the new Low Power Mode feature (V1.18.01) is now correctly saved in the configuration file.
5. An adjustment has been implemented in the Water Sensor feature, which will deactivate the digital output that activates the (Blue Lamp) indication if the analog value remains below 4mA for a duration exceeding the specified time period (default is 10 seconds).

HARDWARE CONFIGURATION

The LCR.iQ software is compatible with Revision E, Revision J, or Revision K versions of the LCR.iQ I/O board. It can also operate with an optional SENSEiQ board.

RESTRICTIONS OF USE

LCR.iQ Version v1.19.00 is intended for general use and release. It supersedes all previous versions.

Note: All beta software versions previously released are now invalid.

INTERFACE COMPATABILITY

This software is compatible to the Android LCP SDK development kit release v1.00.00 and beta b0.2.

INTEGRITY CONTROL

Full release software will have md5 hash codes available at the release location of the software. The upgrade package software is digitally signed. If the register currently has LCR.iQ v1.10.00 (or later) installed, it will check for a digital signature before allowing the upgrade to occur. If the user attempts to upgrade to a software package that does not have a valid digital signature, the upgrade process will fail and report an error. The screen’s title will be "Signature Verification Failed!", and the message in the window will say, "Digital Signature verification failed for <filename>!" If this occurs, please contact Service to obtain a software upgrade that has a valid digital signature.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

This version releases the SR1000 as a Debian package (.deb). To update a register running the earlier versions of SR1010, SR1011, and the Linux OS, follow these steps:

1. Obtain the SR1000_v1.19.00-signed.deb file and LCRComponents-signed.tar.gz file.
2. Place both files on a USB stick in a directory called "Import".
3. Open Register, place USB stick in the USB connector.
4. On the register, go to Security, and then SECURITY screen.
5. On the SECURITY screen select "Software Update"
6. On the SOFTWARE UPDATE screen, choose "Load Files from USB".
7. Once the copy is completed, choose "Install SR1000 Firmware".
8. From the available files to be deployed choose, "SR1000_v1.19.00-signed.deb"
9. The register will come up in Maintenance Mode, assuming the branding package had been previously installed on the register. The user will be prompted to turn power off for 30 seconds.
10. Upon restoring power, if the register had been running v1.13.00 or earlier, the user will be instructed to stand by while the LCR Components are installed. This will take several minutes.
11. The user will be prompted to perform a "Clear All".
12. After performing a "Clear All", the user will be prompted to install the new I/O Board firmware (SR1010).
13. The user should select "OK".
