Well, we didn’t actually build the house but we did supply all the piping and regulators that make all the fire features possible at this remote location. The builder chose to use Tracpipe and Charter Plastics’ poly pipe to make all the fire features happen. This family’s 12K square foot weekend home is really something to see. Over 600 feet of Tracpipe and 250 feet of poly pipe was used to complete this home. This home features four fireplaces each with 200K BTU log sets installed. Outdoors, this home has three fire bowls that are rated at 500K BTU’s each and have a fire feature that lets the flames appear to drip out of the bowls and down an 18ft wall in front on the boat dock.
Tracpipe and poly pipe were great way time saver for this weekend home. The builder also saved money on this project when compared to using schedule 80 pipe to do the same job. Tracpipe’s flexibility to bend around obstacles make it great choice for any size project. No threading machines needed as the Tracpipe fittings snap onto the piping. Poly pipe’s flexibility and ease of installation also helped get the propane from the underground tank to the needed fire features. Many propane dealers use both Tracpipe and poly pipe for a LP installation of a grill or a set of logs or tankless water heaters. This weekend home is showcase of what these flexible and cost effective products can do.
