Job Description

We are looking for a special individual that can maintain a professional, pleasant demeanor, while confidently interacting with internal salespeople and suppliers. Responsibilities

• Enter Purchase Order confirmations daily into p21 checking ship-to-location, item codes, and costs.
• Ensure all PO’s placed have been confirmed by suppliers. Contact any that have not sent in acknowledgements within 24 hours to confirm.
• Run overdue report weekly and contact suppliers to see when the product will be shipped. Notify the buyer if it will be a lengthy lead time.

Qualification

• Some Purchasing experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient in Outlook and Microsoft Excel.

Experience:

• Purchasing: 1 year (Preferred)
